After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. – Revelation 7:9
God never intends for us to be lone rangers. Community is central to the Christian life, as God relates to Christians, not only as private individuals, but together as a people.
We thus seek to live out our faith as a local church family, united in a common desire to glorify God, and committed to the spiritual growth and maturity of each other.
Our Sunday services are the most public expression of community, as all of us gather to listen to God from the Bible. Also critical to our church life together at BTPC are smaller group meetings, which allow us to help each other better understand God’s word, pray together, and grow in our relationship with God and each other.
There are several adult Bible study groups that meet weekly, either at the church or in someone’s home. We hold a prayer meeting on the first Friday of every month, and conduct short courses periodically to prepare people for key life events like baptism, church membership, marriage. Certain segments of the church family, such as the women and the seniors, also organise occasional meetings and activities that address specific needs and issues faced by those groups.
To get involved in any of these groups, please send us an email.
