I’m New Here

Welcome to Bethany Trinity Presbyterian Church! We are a family of people who loves Jesus. We come from all walks and stages of life, so wherever you’re from, we welcome you!

What can I expect?
We have three services each Sunday at 9.30am, 11.30am and 4pm. We gather at the hall on the second floor, but you’ll spot our friendly greeters even as you walk into the premises. We encourage everyone to write a name tag so there is no awkwardness and scramble to remember names and match them to faces. You’ll feel comfortable knowing everyone by name even on your first visit. During our services, we sing songs that speak of what we believe, we pray (which is to speak to God) and we read the Bible (that is, listen to God in his word) together. A passage from the Bible is then taught. There is Sunday School at our the 9.30am service for young ones, and at the 4pm service, there is a time for questions & answers after the teaching at our third service. The first service starts at 9.30am and ends typically by 11am. The second begins at 11.30am and ends around 1pm. In between, people from both congregations meet over morning tea.

How can I get to know people?
We love to know you and for you to know us! There will be plenty of opportunity to chat before the services as well as during morning tea at 11am, or afternoon tea at 3.45pm (depending on with service you are attending). This is the perfect time to meet us, over a warm cup of coffee and a small bite. If you are attending the second service, please join us for lunch! We normally head off together to a nearby hawker centre or coffee shop.

Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely! We have many families with children of all ages, from infants to youths. Sunday School runs classes for children between 2 and 11 years old at the same time as the first service, from 9.30am to 11am. Our greeters will guide you to where you can drop off your kids with our caring and experiencedteachers. Your kids will be singing songs and learning from the Bible while you attend the service. For children aged 12 to 16, they can join our youths for Bible study which takes place at the same time.
