The word of God takes centre place at our Sunday services as we believe that is how God primarily speaks to us, telling us about himself, his plans for the world and us. Through songs, prayer and a talk on a Bible passage, we hear and respond to God’s word together, seeking to know and follow Jesus in the world we live in today. You may download the preaching calendar 2019 Preaching Calendar.
The first service starts at 9.30am and ends typically by 11am. The second begins at 11.30am and ends around 1pm. The third service starts at 4pm and ends typically by 5.30pm. For the morning services, people from both congregations meet over morning tea. If you get up slightly earlier for our third service, there is afternoon tea at 3.45pm to catch up with everyone before the service starts.
For families, there is a crèche with an audio link to the main hall, allowing parents of babies and toddlers to listen in on the service.
For those with children aged 2 to 11, there are Sunday School classes during the 9.30am service where they will learn about Jesus in a safe and fun environment. Youths are welcome to join NEXt28, where they will learn to find out for themselves in scripture, who Jesus is and what he’s come to do.
